Here's to new beginnings...

So it's 6:30 am, the day of my exam. After feeling fully confident, I decided to get on the computer. What did I stumble upon? My old buddy, the blog=).

But I just want to update you on some of the things that have happened through pictures and misc. quotes I have chosen to place in here too.

"There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle, or you can live as if everything is a miracle." -Albert Einstein

I don't know if any of you know a guy named Weston Duke, but this is him in the picture. We took this at Alpine. He brother just recently passed, so please pray for comfort for him and his family, that they may continue to have complete and utter faith in our Holy God. Thank you guys.

Clark Tower in Memphis, TN, after I returned home from Alpine. Katie and I know where the cool spots to hang out are ha.

A verse that has completely rocked and changed my life...

"For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone," declares the LORD, "So turn, and live."
Ezekiel 18:32

So turn and live... What's this truly mean? I seem to ask myself that a lot... Well I think Oswald Chambers can help us out. He says,

"The moments I truly live are the moments I act with my entire will (for Him)."

Can we truly live? I don't know. I do know, however, I can sure try. I know I can love the God of the heavens my every breath until they run out. I can strive for something better. This life is meaningless with out Christ. I will end with my favorite quote ever:

"Love has no monetary value in this life... Although love, friendship, and faith and in essence worthless, they are what make this life worth living." -C.S. Lewis

Stop. Pray. Listen. Live.

  1. Dear Taylor,
Your message is beautiful, just as beautiful as your gift of seeing the world through grey eyes and the ashen lens of a camera.

To turn our face away from all that is plagued with death--the world and its expectations, false truths that fill us with doubt, and everything else that holds us to this Earth--God is asking for us to turn away from these in order that we may live in true abandonment for Him.

May you continue to live the Word, Taylor, as an example for others. Never take for granted your gifts; always use them to "share the reason for the hope that you have in Christ."

After all, you never know. You may just be someone's angel...
